The Instructional Designer of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has developed a learning intervention that demonstrates exceptional instructional design. The intervention should have been completed by the time of judging, should be innovative and of high quality, and should have delivered demonstrable performance improvement for learners. In particular, the judges will be seeking clear differentiators from other entrants to the Award, evidence of innovation and client endorsement, and a strong proposition in response to the challenge ‘what makes you exceptional as an Instructional Designer?’
