The Colin Corder Award is a special award presented to a person who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the learning industry. The award is presented in memory of Colin Corder, who was one of the original pioneers of the UK learning industry. His books and articles on using interactivity in all training interventions has been a best seller since its publication in the 1970s.

The Institute welcomes nominations for this award, which is awarded by the Institute’s Council. If you wish to nominate a person for this award, please send a paper to the Institute’s Chief Executive, Colin Steed, outlining a full background of the nominee, their major achievements and how their contributions have affected the industry, and your personal statement as to why they should win the award.

It would be preferable to include endorsements from other eminent people in the learning industry.
